Using Chainlink Local to Test CCIP in RemixIDE

If you use NPM, install the @chainlink/local NPM package:

npm install @chainlink/local

If you use Yarn, install the @chainlink/local NPM package:

yarn add @chainlink/local

If you use Foundry:

forge install smartcontractkit/chainlink-local

Import the CCIPLocalSimulator contract from the @chainlink/local package:

import {CCIPLocalSimulator} from "@chainlink/local/src/ccip/CCIPLocalSimulator.sol";

There is one comprehensive guide to help you test Chainlink CCIP in Remix IDE using Chainlink Local - without forking. Testing in forked environments is currently supported only for Foundry and Hardhat.
